Inclusive Language Tools

At SLS 360, we believe that language is more than just words — it’s a powerful tool that shapes culture, connection, and community. This visual resource is a gentle reminder that words have power — to build trust, foster inclusion, and create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and respected.

Whether you're facilitating a meeting, designing a policy, or simply engaging in everyday conversation, the words you choose can either close the distance between people or widen the gap. Authentic communication requires care, courage, and curiosity.

Use this resource as a starting point in your team discussions or training sessions to reflect on how language shows up in your workplace — and how it can be used more intentionally to support equity, belonging, and trust.

Beyond The Canon

A Global Classical Playlist (Part 1)

This playlist has been created to open doors beyond the traditional classical repertoire that so often dominates music education. It shines a light on composers whose voices have historically been underrepresented — women, composers of colour, and artists from around the world — offering a rich spectrum of sound, culture, and perspective.

Designed as a teaching tool, it provides ready-to-use listening material with context notes, so educators can confidently introduce pupils to music that reflects a broader human story. From symphonies by Florence Price and William Grant Still, to the global soundscapes of Tan Dun, Reena Esmail, and Gabriela Ortiz, this collection demonstrates that classical music is — and always has been — diverse, innovative, and universal.
