Code of Conduct

SLS 360 is committed to creating inclusive, respectful and values-led environments for all those who work with, for or alongside us. This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected from staff, associates, facilitators, volunteers, collaborators, clients and members of our networks.

Our Values in Action

Our Code of Conduct is grounded in the values that guide our work:
• Integrity – We act with honesty, professionalism and accountability.
• Inclusion – We treat everyone with respect, recognising and valuing difference.
• Courage – We are willing to challenge exclusion and injustice, and to be challenged ourselves.
• Collaboration – We work in partnership, listening and learning with others to build equitable solutions.
• Care – We centre the wellbeing, safety and dignity of all individuals in all our interactions.

Expected Behaviour

All those engaging with SLS 360 are expected to:
• Treat others with dignity, respect and kindness.
• Communicate in a professional, inclusive and constructive manner.
• Challenge discrimination, bias and harmful behaviour wherever it arises.
• Respect and support difference, including diverse communication styles, perspectives and lived experiences.
• Honour confidentiality and create safe spaces for open, brave dialogue.
• Listen actively and remain open to learning and reflection.

Respectful Communication

We expect all engagement—whether verbal, written, or via digital platforms—to be conducted with care and respect. Discriminatory, aggressive, dismissive or demeaning language or behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes microaggressions, stereotyping, and tone policing.

Accessibility and Inclusion

We are committed to inclusive practice. Please let us know of any access needs in advance so we can support full participation. We encourage the use of clear, respectful language and accessible formats in all communications.

Misconduct and Breaches

Any behaviour that undermines our values or creates a hostile, unsafe or exclusionary environment will be taken seriously. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Harassment, bullying or intimidation
• Discrimination or hate speech
• Breaches of confidentiality
• Disruptive or disrespectful conduct
• Abuse of power, position or privilege

Concerns or complaints can be raised confidentially by emailing info@sls360.org. All reports will be addressed with care, fairness and a commitment to learning and resolution.

Commitment to Accountability

This Code of Conduct will be reviewed annually and may be updated to reflect learning, feedback and the evolving needs of our community. By engaging with SLS 360, you agree to uphold the standards set out in this document.
