Accessibility & Inclusion Statement
SLS 360 is committed to creating environments—physical, digital and relational—that are accessible, inclusive and affirming for all. We recognise that access is not a privilege, but a right, and we are dedicated to removing barriers that prevent full participation.
Our Approach
We take a proactive, person-centred approach to accessibility. We recognise that access needs are diverse, that disabilities may be visible or non-visible, and that inclusion must be responsive and evolving.
Inclusive Practice
We embed inclusion across all our work by:
• Designing sessions, resources and communications that are accessible by default.
• Offering content in a range of formats and making reasonable adjustments where needed.
• Using clear, inclusive and jargon-free language.
• Ensuring our events and services are accessible to people with physical, sensory, cognitive and emotional access needs.
• Building in flexibility and trauma-informed practices to support psychological safety and wellbeing.
Digital Accessibility
We strive to ensure that our digital platforms, including our website, newsletters, and online events, meet recognised accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and are compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Communication and Language
We use inclusive language and avoid terms or phrases that may be exclusionary or harmful. We respect individuals’ pronouns and preferred modes of communication, and create opportunities for people to engage in ways that are comfortable for them.
Neurodiversity
We are committed to creating environments where neurodivergent individuals feel welcomed, understood and supported. This includes providing advance information, offering alternative participation methods, and allowing time and space for reflection and processing.
Continuous Learning
We recognise that access and inclusion are ongoing commitments. We welcome feedback and dialogue from all those we work with and are committed to continually reviewing and improving our practice.
Let Us Know Your Needs
If you are engaging with us and have specific access needs, we encourage you to let us know in advance so we can ensure your experience is fully supported. Contact us at info@sls360.org.
