Alligator Bites Never Heal by Doechii
If you’re looking for an album that pulls no punches, Doechii’s Alligator Bites Never Heal delivers in full force. At just 26, Doechii is unapologetically bold, raw, and electrifying. Known for her razor-sharp lyricism and genre-bending style, Doechii blends hard-hitting beats with introspective storytelling, touching on identity, power, and survival with unfiltered honesty.
This album is explicit, intense, and utterly captivating. Perfect for those who love their hip-hop fearless and boundary-pushing. Every track hits like a gut punch, making it my go-to running playlist right now. Whether it’s the rapid-fire flows, the gritty production, or the moments of vulnerability woven between the chaos, Alligator Bites Never Heal proves that Doechii isn’t here to fit in. She’s here to shake things up and she does it brilliantly. Listen here!

Not Real People by Oreglo
I first heard this four-piece jazz outfit Oreglo on TikTok when they performed a jazz drill live groove in someone’s shed. The quartet is Nicco, C-sé, Teigan and Linus and they are redefining what London jazz sounds like today, having garnered a number of fans they are definitely one to watch. If you like Ezra Collective or Yussef Days, check them out. Listen here!

Lo-Fi Beats by Amplify
This one is a Spotify playlist inspired by the need for a chilled vibe to listen to while we work, ideate and focus. We are listening to this playlist as we write this newsletter and can confirm, we are fully focussed!
The relaxed hip hop instrumental vibe is perfect for getting into the zone especially as research shows that 'Music activates both the left and right brain at the same time, and the activation of both hemispheres can maximise learning and improve focus,” Listen here and get those tasks done!

Why by Sasha Keable
Sasha Keable’s Why has been on repeat for us lately. Soulful, sharp and emotionally rich, this track hits that perfect blend of vulnerability and power. It's a song that gives space to heartbreak, healing, and the kind of self-reflection we don’t always make time for. If you're the type to find clarity (or catharsis) through music, you’ll want this on your playlist. Beautiful, bold, and beautifully human. Listen here

Mother by Cleo Sol
We are currently listening to Mother by Cleo Sol which is an album about her own relationship with her mother and finding solace in the destruction of it so she can be a mother of new stature.
Our favourite ever Cleo Sol song is Life Will Be, from Cleo’s fourth studio album Gold. We definitely get Stevie Wonder vibes every time we hear this song and it makes us smile every time. She has such a beautiful voice. Listen here!

He’s My Man by Luvcat
A great one for a 6 hour road trip. He’s My Man is a “murder ballad" with a dark romantic and obsessive narrative.
It has a gothic feel and Luvcat’s velvety vocals go well with the sinister storytelling vibe. Spoiler alert, it’s about a wife poisoning her husband to keep him forever.
Luvcat was voted one to watch in 2025 and we can see why! The rest of the album is pretty cool too! Listen here.

Where Is My Husband? by RAYE
Lately I’ve had RAYE’s track Where is my Husband? on repeat. It's a GREAT track! Honest, witty, and unapologetic, it’s one of those songs that makes you smile and nod along at the same time.
The singer-songwriter uses the song to make a plea for a man to ease her single blues as she points out some of the plights of being alone including the struggle of trying to unzip a dress by yourself in the wee hours of the morning.
RAYE’s ability to blend sharp storytelling with irresistible hooks is exactly why she’s become one of the UK’s most exciting voices. Listen here.

Symphonies Nos 1 & 3 by Florence Price
Florence Price was the first Black woman to have her music performed by a major American orchestra, yet for decades her genius was overlooked.
These symphonies are soulful, sweeping, and unapologetically expansive, blending classical traditions with the rhythms, harmonies, and spirituals rooted in her heritage.
Listening feels both grounding and visionary: the kind of music that holds history, resilience, and joy all at once. It’s a reminder that inclusion isn’t just about representation. It’s about hearing voices that have always belonged in the canon. Listen here.

Tame Impala by Dracula
Moody, hypnotic, and utterly immersive this track is doing what Tame Impala does best by pulling you into a dreamy soundscape where time feels optional. Perfect for late-night thinking, creative flow, or when the weekend is finally here! Listen here.

All U Gotta Do by Bou
The drum and bass artist Bou has burst onto the scene with some fantastic high energy melodic drum and bass. It’s my favourite workout tune at the moment and it’s guaranteed to get me into that upper heart rate limit for longer! Not for the faint hearted, but turn that bass up high. Listen here.
